 Kakadu Plum

TERMINALIA FERDINANDIANA | BIOACTIVE NATIVE EXTRACT

Due to the constant exposure to the harmful rays of the sun, this superfood plum has developed an efficient system to protect itself from the oxidative stress caused by sun induced free radicals. It's known to contain the world's highest concentration of nutrient-available vitamin C. A free radical scavenger that protects the skin from environmental harm. When applied topically, it restores the skin's antioxidant defence system, protecting the dermis from degradation.

Kakadu plum also stimulates pro-collagen 1 and hyaluronic acid to help reduce wrinkles, improve skin texture and protect against UV related damage. It has powerful anti-inflammatory properties that dramatically increases the synthesis of collagen. It also lessens hyper pigmentation and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Found in our Vital C Elixir

CoEnzyme Q10
Ubiquinone/Vitamin Active

A natural anti-aging ingredient that improves the skin quality and resistance against future ageing. CoEnzyme Q10 or CoQ10 is a nutrient and fat-soluble vitamin-like substance that is found in every cell of the body. It not only acts as an energy carrier for the mitochondria, it plays an essential role in cellular function as an antioxidant located in the membranes near the unsaturated lipids.  It's known as a primary scavenger of free radicals and acts in a synergistic way with Vitamin E (tocopherol) in cell membrane protection against oxidative stress. The result? - protection for your skin cells against the photoaging process induced by free radicals.

Synthesized by the body, it starts out at low levels when you're young and then reaches its peak in early adulthood. It then shows a gradual decline after the age of 20. CoQ10 and Vitamin E are the only oil soluble antioxidants that are found in the epidermis. Both protect the skin from UV light, but are depleted by UV radiation.  When topically applied it can penetrate the cell layers and may increase the epithelial turnover and depth of the wrinkles caused by photo aging.

Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil
HIPPOPHAE RHAMNOIDES | EMOLLIENT/ESSENTIAL FATTY ACID

Sea Buckthorn is cultivated in the arctic region. It is regarded as one of the most potent antioxidant and bioactive natural skin care ingredients available. It contains approximately 108 different age reversal bioactives including abundant levels of Vitamin C, A, B, E, K and P. It also contains essential fatty acids 3,6,7 & 9 carotenoids plus flavonoids, lycopenes, phytosterols and minerals.

Due to its ability to assist with free radical scavenging and tissue regenerating properties, it assists with combating wrinkles and soothes dry, irritated skin. Clinical studies have demonstrated that Sea Buckthorn can improve skin metabolism and retard skin maturation. Slowing the ageing process. Because of its extremely high nutrient content, it can also contribute to the reduction of the damaging effects of sun radiation.

Green Tea
CAMELLIA SINENSIS | BOTANICAL EXTRACT

Green tea contains an abundance of polyphenols. Very powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatories. They inhibit collagenase, the enzyme that causes degradation of collagen. Green tea also contains methylxanthines (alkaloids) that assist with reducing redness, irritation, and inflammation of the skin. Green tea is 20 times stronger than the beneficial plant chemicals that are found in vitamin E. It protects the skin cells from damage by free radicals and UVB damage.
