My mum was wrong about: many things, mainly small. We're all wrong at times in life. However, I've learnt from her 'wrongs' especially as I take the life long journey of motherhood.

My mamma was right most of the time :)
*She was right when she said don't pick your skin it will scar.
*She was right when she said if you can count your friends on one hand you are doing good.
*She was right when she said do unto others as you wish to be done to you.
*She was right when she said never give up, tomorrow is always a better day.
*She was right when she said you are beautiful inside and out.
*She was right when she said that if it does'nt rain it pours.
*She was right when she said that a mother and daughter relationship is like no other, she is right she is my best friend and my heart and soul.
*She was wrong when she said tomato and cheese sandwiches were great for my school lunch, no mamma bear the tomato gets soggy by lunchtime!
*She was wrong when she said I needed a 9 to 5 job, no mamma bear living the life of a gypsy gave me so many magical life lessons that no ordinary type of job could give me.

My mother was right about making the best first impression when meeting someone new, and always looking my best "because you never know who you might meet and what it could lead to".

My mother was wrong about not much at all really. She knew what was best for us, but I think she deserved more pampering over the years with 6 children and a farm to care for. She always put us first and now her health is suffering. She's only 66 years young so I suppose she was wrong not to make time for herself.
