UPCYCLING INITIATIVE

The global cosmetics industry produces well over 100 billion units of packaging every year, few of which can be accepted and recycled as household waste. Applicators, pumps etc are not readily recyclable. Less than 10% of plastics used are recycled with the rest ending up as landfill.

Using glass which can be up-cycled as our choice of packaging means that we can create an impact and minimise our footprint. Our goal is to up-cycle all glass and to only ever use PCR plastic which can be recycled. Our recycling initiative ensures that your bottles and jars can be endlessly reused.

In an effort to reduce and minimise our footprint, we're pleased to announce that you can now return your empty bottles and jars. This hugely minimises our environmental footprint and helps us on our mission to use less and do more. Whilst we understand that the process of returning these bottles takes a little effort, but we're committed to doing what we can do reduce waste and maintain a healthy ecosystem.  At no cost to you, we offer a free returns, rewards and recycling of all Miron glass packaging. For every 5 items returned, we offer a 200 Beauty Bonus points (equivalent to $10) that is redeemable on our website.

This recycling programme is currently available to our Australian customers only with a future goal to endeavour to make this a worldwide initiative.

SAVE THE BEES

As well as our focus on our Up-cycling Initiative, we have partnered with Save the Bees Australia - Bee the Cure, whose mission it is to educate people regarding the plight of precious pollinators. We are at a crucial tipping point and it's paramount that we help protect native bee species and that honeybees are kept respectfully and responsibly. If bees thrive, humanity can thrive. Our ongoing monthly donation assists with protecting our precious pollinators.
